NC Sports Con is excited to announce the first ever Wendell Cup. This will be a fun, spirited, sporty competition between the best golfers in Wendell Falls and Wendell Proper while supporting our lovely community.
About the Format
The Wendell Cup is a Ryder Cup-style golf tournament where players are drafted into two teams by each captain just days before the event. On tournament day, players compete in head-to-head match play, earning points for their team. The team with the most points at the end takes home the Cup—and bragging rights until next year.
1:30 t-time, shotgun start.
18 holes, 3 man captains choice. Team match play-Ryder Cup points style. Wendell Falls against Wendell Proper. We are playing for the trophy and bragging rights. Other prizes will be awarded.

Proceeds from the event with be donated to support the East Wake High School Alumni Association, supporting scholarship programs.
The East Wake Community rallies together to help give very deserving students a better shot at chasing their dreams. They award scholarships to graduating seniors who have a strong character, accomplished academic resume and financial need.
