The NC Sports Con (Convention) is built around a big idea: to take the traditional sports card show and elevate it into something new, exciting, and community-focused. While sports cards and memorabilia are still at the core, this event expands the experience into something far beyond tables and trades.
Attendees will enjoy a full day of athlete meet-and-greets, team showcases, interactive games, retail vendors, wellness booths, and more. This is a chance for collectors, families, athletes, and fans to come together under one roof and celebrate the full culture of sports.
Our goal is to connect the past and future of sports in a way that gets people moving, engaged, and inspired. Whether you’re hunting for a rare card, meeting a hometown sports hero, or introducing your kids to the joy of the game, NC Sports Con is where it all comes together.

We are Wendell residents united by our passion for sports, wellness, and community. The NC Sports Convention is our signature event, created to celebrate the powerful role sports play in bringing people together, inspiring healthy lifestyles, and strengthening local pride.
Our mission is to showcase Wendell as a vibrant place to live, work, and thrive; where community health and active living are valued. By promoting sports and recreation, we aim to get people moving, outside, and engaged with one another. Whether it’s kids discovering new activities, families enjoying time together, or adults reconnecting with fitness, we believe sports are a gateway to a healthier and more connected community.
